In a world where social change and community impact are more essential than ever, NGO leaders play a crucial role. To support their development, we are opening applications for the IncubaThor program, designed for leaders of non-governmental organizations and social enterprises from Southeastern Romania.
What is IncubaThor?
IncubaThor is a training program designed to strengthen the capacities of NGOs and prepare their leaders to face today’s challenges. The program is based on the EMPRETEC methodology, an internationally recognized entrepreneurial development program conducted under the auspices of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD – Geneva).
What Does IncubaThor Offer?
The program focuses on developing key skills, including:
✔ Fundraising Strategies – Participants will learn effective techniques for securing donations, sponsorships, grants, and tax incentives.
✔ Risk Management – Developing evaluation and risk management skills to capitalize on community opportunities.
✔ Stakeholder Engagement – Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to improve local policies and sustainable development skills.
✔ Innovation and Adaptability – Encouraging creative thinking and adaptability to address dynamic community needs.
✔ Setting SMART Goals – Enhancing the ability to establish specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound objectives.
This program is tailored for NGO leaders, equipping them with essential skills to develop sustainable solutions adapted to the communities they serve.

📅 Application Period: June 19 – July 15 (by 2:00 PM)
✅ Selection Process: Applicants will complete a registration form, which will be evaluated based on a scoring system. The top 25 applicants will advance to the final interview stage. See the full regulations here.

IncubaThor Organizers
The project is implemented by OpenHub Creative Cluster, in collaboration with the Galați Community Foundation, the Association for Entrepreneurship Romania, and Empretec Romania. These organizations are responsible for designing and implementing the IncubaThor program, within the Raiffeisen Communities call for projects.
