On October 6, 2023, Restaurant Flow in Galați became the stage for an explosion of creativity and innovation as it hosted the ‘Trends in Creative Industries’ conference. With an electrifying atmosphere and a knowledge-hungry audience, the event provided a comprehensive overview of the current directions in the creative world.
Creative Speakers
Each speaker brought a unique facet of their field to the forefront, offering the audience a holistic experience:
- Matei Iancu explored the latest trends in gastronomy, highlighting how tradition intertwines with innovation to create memorable culinary experiences and introduced his new restaurant, Diciassette.
- Gina Popa, a renowned visual artist, delved into the world of ceramic art, discussing the psychological benefits her students gain from working with clay.
- Daniela Oancea, a master milliner, showcased how tradition blends with modernity to create hats that are true works of art.
- Sergiu Porumboiu discussed modern architecture, emphasizing the importance of sustainability and ecological design in contemporary projects. He also shared insights into the ‘Tiny House, Cozy Home’ architecture competition.
- Șerban Tudor, a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts at Dunărea de Jos University, presented some of his works, revealing his artistic journey from novice to master.
