What is OPENHUB ?
Openhub is for us a project that started from our passion for the IT field and everything that means applications of communication technology in business. It is, at the same time, a project dedicated to communication and development mainly through interaction and exchange of experience. What you can learn or solve in a few hours in an event that brings together enthusiasts and specialists of the same or even related fields is always more valuable than what you try to do alone.

The present looks encouraging, but what about the future ?
Founded in 2012, Openhub Club is a community of technology and communication enthusiasts, which attracts both students taking their first steps in the field and representatives of leading companies from Galati and across the country.
The main goal of this project is to support the development of the business field through excellence in IT, communication, innovation and the creation of a professional context conducive to meeting the best that Galician education has to offer and the employment and development opportunities offered by local companies for students and graduates passionate about information technology.
An education and business community focused on creating opportunities, fostering talent and supporting perseverance for quality, professionalism and high standards that brings together under the umbrella of events students, founders of successful start-ups, trendsetters, company directors and renowned business professionals.

DanubeAir
Air quality in Galati
DanubeAir is a project whose aim is to use technology to raise awareness of the very important issue of air quality. DanubeAir is an initiative to develop the city of Galati to the level of Smart City, a very popular title in developed countries. Devices installed by the project team will monitor air quality and record values for comparison. This will enable initiatives to improve air quality to be launched following analysis of the data.
Leru.ro
Good deeds shop
Leru.ro is a shop of good deeds that started in 2019 following a brilliant idea born out of a desire to do good. And because we couldn't find a more iconic symbol for the winter holidays than the Larch, we decided that through this shop of good deeds, the Larch would be spread as far and wide as possible. The mechanism is a simple one, where people donate decorations, items or services, other people buy them, and all the money goes to the cause of the year in which the campaign takes place. In 2022, Leru.ro aimed to raise 90,000 RON to provide financial
education camps for 10 students from underprivileged areas, but with
excellent results.

Treasure Galati is a mobile app that can organize Treasure Hunt competitions for teams of adventure-seeking people. Those who want to exercise or discover Galati can select a route and follow the clues that will take them throughout the city of Galati, at important points telling stories and offering satisfaction. The team that manages to finish the route first will be designated the winner.
