Creation of an Open Innovation Hub in the South-East Region (OpenInnoHub)

Open Hub Association implements the project entitled "Creation of an Open Innovation Hub in the South-East Region (OpenInnoHub)" SMIS code 153386, on the basis of funding contract no. 7/111/SECTION B/25.10.2022 concluded with the Ministry of European Investment and Projects, as Managing Authority for the Competitiveness Operational Programme and with the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitisation, as Research Intermediary Body for the Competitiveness Operational Programme.

The project is co-financed by the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 - Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RDI) in support of economic competitiveness and business development, Investment Priority PI1a - Strengthening research and innovation (R&I), infrastructure and capacities for the development of R&I excellence and promotion of centres of competence, in particular those of European interest, call for projects No 3.

The project implementation period is 15 months, from 25.10.2022 to 31.12.2023.

The overall objective of the project is to increase the research, development and innovation capacity of the OPEN HUB Cluster.

Expected project results:
1. Acquisition of a building for the realisation of the RDI infrastructure;
2. Purchase and commissioning of laboratory facilities, IT equipment and software licences and applications;
3. Conducting workshop events, webinars, competitions and organising training programmes.
