On the evening of 18 November, the evening at Thecon headquarters was shrouded in magic. 17:30 marked the start of the fourth edition of the Leru.ro event, featuring the magical Night of the Elves.
This year, the cause was noble and profound. The Association for Entrepreneurship in Romania has committed itself to organise a summer camp for 15 deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds in south-eastern Romania. These young people will have the opportunity to benefit from intensive financial and entrepreneurial education sessions, preparing them for a solid financial future and a head start in adult life.
But how is all this achieved? Through the effort and dedication of the Night of the Elves volunteers. The Elves, with their distinctive ears, have been working hard in various areas such as developing the shop.leru.ro platform, marketing, logistics for the online shop, fundraising and more. Whether it was making decorations, managing orders, or promoting the leru.ro cause, the elves put passion into every activity.
And it wasn’t just work. Elf Night is also known for its fun. Under the guidance of the THECON and OPENHUB ELFs, work went on until dawn. With games, challenges, mulled wine and lots of good cheer, the elves proved they can have fun while supporting a good cause.
Those who wanted to join the cause had the opportunity to sign up and experience the joy of doing good, the opportunity to network and, last but not least, the pleasure of tasting mulled wine in the spirit of the upcoming holidays.
