FRIEND CCI is a project based on collaboration and networking at European level, which creates an optimal framework for several clusters to work together to help SMEs in the creative and cultural area in Europe and to help them innovate and remain as resilient as possible in crisis situations.
Which Clusters are involved in the project?
In order to support the innovation and resilience of Europe’s creative and cultural industries, several clusters from several European countries have joined forces and resources, working together to facilitate a much greater Europe-wide reach. So here are the clusters involved and some details about each of them:
OpenHub Creative Cluster Romania – we were born in 2017 and after two years, our team received the Bronze Certificate for Excellence. We are the representatives of the FRIEND CCI project in Romania and we are here to help you!
Venetian Cluster Italy – Venetian Cluster, responsible for coordinating more than 800 companies and 24 institutions such as universities, research centres, etc. in Italy
ITALCAM Germany – Italcam, a non-profit association that promotes and helps business actions at European level, especially between Germany and Italy. Its innovation actions are mainly oriented towards the trade sector.
FRANCE CLUSTERS France – Association Club des Districts Industries Francais – French Clusters brought together over 300 regional clusters.
CLUSTER IDIA SPAIN – A digital cluster from Spain that supports development and provides a beneficial framework for digital innovation.
What is the budget of the project
In order to ensure that as many companies as possible from different industries receive support for domestic innovation, the project budget has been set at €1,442,542.36 of which €1,076,000.00 will be provided as direct funding to SMEs operating in the cultural and creative sectors in the 5 countries. This money will go towards projects involving sustainable digital development and innovation for the companies that will benefit from the grants.
