On July 1, 2017, on a scorching Saturday with a torrid sun that seemed to melt the asphalt, gaming and blogging enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the third edition of Bloggers Arena Galati. This edition, as the name suggests, is a space dedicated to enthusiasts who want to combine socializing with gaming in a pleasant and friendly environment.
The venue was Thecon’s headquarters, which, thanks to Ion’s creative vision, was transformed into a veritable gaming arena. The atmosphere was vibrant, the walls covered with posters and themed panels encouraging a competitive spirit.
The participants were divided into three large teams, with suggestive names and representative colours: Snow (white), Crow (black) and Titan (red). Spirits quickly heated up as each team was tasked with choosing the best players to compete in the various games: Fifa17 2vs2, CS:GO 5vs5, Guitar Hero and Activity. In addition to the intense competitions, there were also free play sessions, where participants could enjoy “Vrajba of the Pixels”, an original game designed by Ion, and the card game “Exploding Kittens”.
But, as with any event, the surprises didn’t stop there. For the first time, attendees were able to enjoy the “Guitar Hero” experience, a game that simulates performing on a rock stage. And because a successful event also needs refreshments, another novelty was the introduction of a fridge full of beer, guaranteeing fun and refreshment at the same time. This edition of Bloggers Arena Galati turned out to be a perfect mix of socializing, competition and fun.
