Open Hub recently hosted a conference dedicated to IT enthusiasts called “Blog Me UP“. The event provided a detailed insight into the influence and importance of blogs in today’s digital landscape. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the creation, maintenance, promotion of blogs and the opportunities they offer.
Five speakers with extensive blogging experience shared their insights and advice:
- Gabriel Ursan discussed the passion for blogging and the possible financial benefits, presenting the topic “Blogging. Passion and Earnings”.
- Victoria Giorgiana addressed the less discussed side of blogging in her presentation “The dark side of blogging”.
- Catalina Soare elucidated the relationship between bloggers and PR agencies.
- Simona Andrei offered insights on the importance of visuals in blogging, under the title “Image grammar – elements of composition and visual message”.
- And finally, Bogdan Pana led an interactive workshop on blogging, called “Blogging Workshop. How it’s made”.
Bogdan Pana, president of Open Hub, reflected on the impact of blogging in the digital world: “In the 14 years since the blogging phenomenon began to take off, it has become a major source of inspiration and creativity. Bloggers have become key influencers, having a significant impact on various industries and marketers globally. Social networks now act as bridges for these conversations, and brands are turning to collaborations with bloggers for their campaigns. It is clear that blogging is one of the most influential forms of online communication today.”
